This year's 26th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that One Piece is inspiring a new Nintendo 3DS game titled One Piece Unlimited World Red. Namco Bandai Games is developing the "multi action-adventure" title. Namco Bandai Games has not yet set a release date or price for the game. The game will be the first title in three years in the "unlimited" series of games based on Eiichiro Oda's manga.
The game will allow for up to four players to play together, and the announcement notes that players can explore the world of One Piece with their friends. The announcement image features Luffy fighting a dragon from the Punk Hazard arc, and also notes that players can play fishing, bug-catching, and treasure-hunting mini games with up to four players.
The announcement page also reveals that the One Piece Romance Dawn: Bōken no Yoake role-playing game is getting a port for the Nintendo 3DS. The port will ship in Japan on August 8. The original PlayStation Portable game shipped in Japan on December 20.
