Danny Elfman is a Miyazaki Fan

The composer has been watching all of Miyazaki's movies with his son.
In an interview with The Big Issue, film composer Danny Elfman talked about the movie nights that he shares with his son, Oliver. Currently, they've been going through all of Miyazaki's works.
"Right now, we're going through all the films of the Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki. My favourite is always going to be Spirited Away. Oliver's is between Princess Mononoke and My Neighbor Totoro.
Elfman's most recent project is David O. Russell's American Hustle, which is slated to hit theaters this Christmas. His "Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton" concert event will be at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live from October 29-31.
