Sakura Wars Does America's Wild West in Stage Play

The cast of the "Sakura Wars: New York Hoshigumi Show 2013 -Hope of the Wild West" stage play performed a questionable interpretation of America's cowboy days in the franchise's latest stage play. A trailer for the performance's home video release is currently streaming. In the preview, the cast dons saloon girl and cowboy attire along with plenty of stereotypical Native American headdresses, face make-up, and chants.
The show stars Sanae Kobayashi as Gemini Sunrise, Junko Minagawa as Sagitta Wineberg, Ayaka Saitō as Rikaritta Aries, Kaya Matsutani as Diana Caprice, Mie Sonozaki as Subaru Kujo, Hisayoshi Suganuma as Shinjiro Taiga, Naoya Uchida as Michael Sunnyside, Kaori Asō as Plum Spaniel, Yōko Honna as Anri Yoshino, and Rumi Kasahara as protagonist Futaba Taiga. Special guest cast members include Rumi Kitahara, Akiko Kuno, Velo Takeda, Yōichi Nishimura, Shintarō Sonooka, and Ren Tamura.
The DVD and Blu-ray goes on sale on November 28.
