Nana Mizuki, Hiroshi Kamiya Return for Hunger Games: Catching Fire Dub

posted on by Bamboo Dong
The Japanese cast adds Tomoaki Maeno as Finnick Odair.

The voice cast has been announced for the Japanese release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which will hit Japanese theaters December 27. As expected, most are returning actors, although one new role has been added.

Nana Mizuki (Hinata Hyuuga from Naruto, Wrath from Fullmetal Alchemist) will be reprising her role as movie heroine Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence. Mizuki has also voiced Agatha in Minority Report and Dianna Agron's Sarah role in I Am Number 4. Fittingly, Mizuki also dubbed Agron's Quinn Fabray role in Glee.

Joining her once again is Hiroshi Kamiya (Levi from Attack on Titan, Takashi Natsume from Natsume's Book of Friends), who dubs Josh Hutcherson's charater, Peeta Mellark.

Yūichi Nakamura (Grizzly from Polar Bear's Café, Raizo Yamada from Valvrave the Liberator) returns as Gale Hawthorne, played by Liam Hemsworth. Interestingly, Nakamura also did the voiceover for Hemsworth in The Last Song for the character Will Blakelee.

Kouichi Yamadera (Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop, Briareos from Appleseed XIII) returns as Haymitch Abernathy, played by Woody Harrelson.

Rie Kugimya (Happy from Fairy Tail, Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist) returns as Primrose Everdeen, played by Willow Shields.

Tomoaki Maeno (Genbachi Inukai from Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Naotsugu from Log Horizon) will be dubbing Finnick Odair, who is played by Sam Claflin.
