Kotobukiya's anticipated statue of the medicine seller from the Mononoke anime is finally up for pre-order after being teased at multiple fan events this year.
The figure is part of the ARTFX J line and will ship in March to the tune of 12,500 yen (US$104).
he series maintains a cult following, and was one of the recent top choices in a poll for a sequel. The industry seems to be listening. Japanese publisher Coamix's Monthly Comic Zenon magazine is planning a new manga series based on the work with Ghost Slayers Ayashi artist Yaeko Ninagawa. Mononoke -Nue- is expected to start next year.
