Watch the Entire Final Fantasy XIV Bahamut Projection Mapping Display

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Earlier this month, the Final Fantasy franchise's iconic dragon Bahamut appeared in a limited projection mapping display on the the Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel. Visitors could watch the 12-minute display five times per day, but the event has since ended. Other Final Fantasy events are still taking place in Yokohama, but anyone wanting to see the projection mapping in person is out of luck.

Well, sort of. You can't see it in person anymore, but the official Final Fantasy XIV YouTube account is streaming the display in its entirety.

The Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary collaborations also included the "Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia" flag projection mapping at Queen's Square Yokohama, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Mobius Final Fantasy bento boxes, and The Yokohama Doll Museum is hosting an exhibition of out-of-print and rare Final Fantasy Play Arts figures starting on June 24. The museum shop is currently selling collaboration merchandise.

The Tōkyū Tōyoko train line is getting a Final Fantasy overhaul with trains wrapped in Yoshitaka Amano artwork and game advertisements throughout the stations.
