NEOAFRO, the North East Ohio Anime Fandom Renasaince Organization, has sent out a PR highlighting some of their upcoming anime film festival plans, from an anime music video contest to films and gameshows. If you're in Ohio, you may want to check them out! Also, check their webboard for more information and information updates.

Excerpted from an e-mail from Justin Porter, Chief-of-Staff of NEOAFRO:

I am taking this oppurtunity to formally announce that the Twilight Anime Carnival is now an official event. We at the North East Ohio Anime Fandom Renasaince Organization have finally been able to move on our plans to put on this event and things are starting to look up. For those who heard about it earlier, the Twilight Anime Carnival is a noon to midnight anime film festival, celebrating the best anime has to offer in all genres and era. Everything from the latest and the greatest anime films will be shown on our big screen, with mini-features comprised of fan favorite episodes of multiple series. Also on the big screen will be an anime music video contest, which will take place during one of the film breaks.

But wait, there's more...

Yes, you won't just be watching anime at Twilight, you'll have a chance to display your prowess as a fan, too. Namely through our cosplay contest and through our twice a night quiz show "Win Some Money" which pits your anime knoweledge against our own expert in a battle for bragging rights and actual cash! Which, if it suits you, you can then proced to blow at our vendors' tables. There's more on the way, and you'll be able to find out all there is about it through the NEOAFRO forums at where you can also pre-register for tickets. Everyone is invited and you can find all the information you need on our forums. Join the renasaince, join us at Twilight.
