IGPX Details Unveiled at TAF2005

Plans for new Toonami original series unveiled at Tokyo Animation Fair 2005.
At this year's Tokyo Animation Fair, Cartoon Network, Production I.G, and Bandai unveiled details about their joint project, IGPX (Immortal Grand Prix). Set to air this fall, it will be Toonami's first original series. A press release can be read here with more information about the release, as well as the show itself.
While this is a new series, the concept for IGPX is not new to Cartoon Network. In 2003, five 5-minute episodes (also co-produced with Production I.G) were broadcast during Toonami. An IGPX game is still available online at Cartoon Network.com.
