New Viz manga licenses

The April 2007 issue of Shoujo Beat Magazine, which hit newsstands and bookshops last week, mentions that Viz has licensed two new manga. Chitose Yagami's one-volume Fall in love like a comic! manga Mitaina Koi Shitai) is scheduled for an October release, while Hinako Ashhara's Sand Chronicles (Suna Dokei). which ran to ten volumes, will be appearing in Shoujo Beat starting later in the year. Suna-dokei was the winner of Shogakukan's 50th Manga Sho competition in 2005. It is also the basis of a live-action TV drama which premiered on Japan's TBS network on March 12.
