Cannes Brings News of The Neighbor Number 13 Movie

A Hollywood Reporter profile of the South African movie company, Distant Horizon, reveals that it is currently producing a Western live-action adaptation of Santa Inoue's 1993 manga Rinjin 13-gō. Chris and Eddie Borey, who are currently working on Open Grave, are set to write the screenplay. A 1995 Japanese film adaptation of the same manga is available in North America from Media Blasters. As reported in Variety in 2006, Distant Horizon is also producing the live-action version of Kite.
