posted on by Egan Loo
The Pacific Cinematheque film society is screening the North American premiere of the anime feature film Garasu no Usagi (The Glass Rabbit) in Vancouver, Canada on July 28 at 2:00 p.m. The 2005 film adapts a semi-autobiographical novel about a twelve-year-old Japanese orphan girl during World War II. It is part of "Kibatsu Cinema," a four-day film series that also includes Viz Pictures' live-action films The Taste of Tea, the manga-based Kamikaze Girls, and Linda Linda Linda. Thanks, Derrick.
