GTO's Tohru Fujisawa Starts Animal Joe Manga Series

Two-part preview ran in Big Comic Spirits magazine in 2006
Tohru Fujisawa, the artist best known for the Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) and Shōnan Junai-gumi manga, is starting a new manga series called Animal Joe in Issue #4/5 of 2008 (on sale December 25) of Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits seinen magazine. The announcement was made in Issue #3 (on sale December 17) of the magazine. The same magazine published a two-installment Animal Joe short story late last year.
