USA Today Booklist, June 30–July 6 (Updated)

posted on by Egan Loo
Naruto 30, Fruits Basket 20 are bestsellers

The newest volume of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga (Viz Media) made the #45 spot on the USA Today newpaper's list of America's top 150 best-selling books for the week from June 30 to July 6. That week was Naruto volume 30's first official week of publication, but it already entered the list in the previous week, when early sales ranked the volume at #134.

For the first time in several weeks, a Japanese manga from a publisher other than Viz also placed on the list. Most volumes of Natsuki Takaya's Fruits Basket (Tokyopop) have sold extremely well, and the newest one published, volume 20, continued the trend as it entered the list at #63.

Update: Introduction corrected. Thanks, fighterholic.
