Anime After Dark Film Fest Begins in Monterey, California

The Golden State Theater in Monterey, California will host the three-night Anime After Dark film program beginning at 6:00 p.m. on November 28. The films include Project A-ko, Kakurenbo, Tekkonkinkreet (pictured at right), Urotsukidoji, Ghost in the Shell: Innocence, Cat Soup, Princess Mononoke, Millennium Actress, Appleseed, and Grave of the Fireflies. Voice actor Yuri Lowenthal (Naruto, Afro Samurai), voice actress Tara Platt (Naruto), artist Jessie Pridemore, and Anime After Dark founder Dekker Dreyer are scheduled to speak at the event.
The licensing company Resonance Features and The Boston Science Fiction Film Festival hosted the first version of the event in Boston in October.
