Japanese Animation DVD Ranking, December 23-January 5

Hana Yori Dango Final, the theatrical finale to the recent live-action adaptation of Yōko Kamio's Boys Over Flowers manga, sold 91,498 more copies to add to its total of 295,137. It stayed as the #2 DVD during the New Year's holidays. To celebrate Christmas, Nana Mizuki Live Fighter -Red Side- and -Blue Side- DVDs (pictured at right) entered the chart at #16 (with 14,712 copies) and at #18 (with 14,525 copies), respectively.
