Aniplex, TV Tokyo Work on Anime no Chikara Project

"Spirited" creators to develop original stories into TV series for next January
TV Tokyo President Masayuki Shimada has revealed in a July 30 meeting that his television station is collaborating with the Aniplex production company on a new project called Anime no Chikara (The Strength of Anime). The project is being developed in the new anime department that TV Tokyo established in April. Anime no Chikara gathers together "spirited" creators to develop original animated stories into a television series. TV Tokyo plans to premiere Anime no Chikara during the January timeframe next year.
