Battle Royale/Kill Bill's Kuriyama Sings for Gundam UC

Actress Chiaki Kuriyama (Battle Royale, Kill Bill, The Sky Crawlers) will make her singing debut with the theme song to the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn anime. Kuriyama, going under the name CHiAKi KURiYAMA, will release the single "Ryusei no Namida" ("Tears of a Falling Star"), on February 24.
Bandai Visual's first Blu-ray Disc volume for the series will have a simultaneous international release on March 12 with Japanese and English dubbing, as well as Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Chinese subtitles. The first of six DVD volumes will ship on the same day with Japanese dubbing as well as Japanese and English subtitles. Bandai Visual announced on January 14 that the first DVD will be on sale on the Amazon website exclusively for two months starting March 12. The English-dub cast was announced in December 2009, and a 52-second trailer is now streaming on ANN.
