Tantei Opera Milky Holmes cast to take part in Yokohama BayStars baseball game

The production company Bushiroad announced at its "Bushiroad Card Game Live 2011" event, which just ended on Sunday, that the Tantei Opera Milky Holmes (Detective Opera Milky Holmes) game and television anime franchise will have a special this summer. The format in which the special will be aired/streamed/shown and other information will be announced in the future, but the director (Makoto Moriwaki), chief animation director, and other main staff members will not change from last year's television anime series.

Bushiroad also announced that the Milky Holmes franchise will take part in the ceremonial first pitch for an upcoming game of the Yokohama BayStars baseball team on April 10. The four main voice actresses (Suzuko Mimori, Sora Tokui, Mikoi Sasaki, Izumi Kitta) will perform a live version of the anime's opening theme song "Seikai wa Hitotsu! Janai!!" before the game and present flower bouquets to both the Yokohama BayStars and the opposing Yomiuri Giants. Tickets with bonus collaboration goods (microfiber towel, T-shirt, or tote bag) will go on advance sale on March 1.

Bushiroad will then hold a "Milky Homes Live Tour 2011 Secret Garden" in Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Yokohama between May 4 and May 28. The Colourful Garden mini album with six tracks will go on sale on March 23.

The Milky Holmes television anime series and detective romance adventure game follow four budding female private eyes. The media distribution website Crunchyroll streamed the anime series outside Japan as it aired.
