Viz Simulcasts Sunrise's Tiger & Bunny Superhero Anime

The North American anime and manga distributor Viz Media announced on Wednesday that it will simulcast Sunrise's Tiger & Bunny superhero television anime series starting on April 2. The company's VizAnime website will stream the anime.
The anime centers around heroes for hire — super powered beings known as NEXT who wear sponsor logos while fighting crime on live television.
Keiichi Satou (Karas director, The Big O character/mechanical designer) is helming the project, and Masafumi Nishida (live-action Kaibutsu-kun) is writing and overseeing the scripts. Yoshihiro Ike (Blood: The Last Vampire, Karas, Dead Leaves) is composing the music. Masakazu Katsura (Video Girl Ai, DNA², I''s, Zetman), a well-known fan of Batman and other superhero comics, is creating the original character designs.
The anime will feature the following Japanese cast:
Hiroaki Hirata as Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (Wild Tiger)
Masakazu Morita as Barnaby Brooks Jr.
Minako Kotobuki as Karina Lyle (Blue Rose)
Taiten Kusunoki as Rock Bison
Mariya Ise as Dragon Kid
Kenjirō Tsuda as Fire Emblem
Gō Inoue as Sky High
Nobuhiko Okamoto as Origami Cyclone
