Discotek to Release 2nd Panda! Go, Panda! Film Also

The North American anime distributor Discotek Media confirmed on Tuesday that it will release both Panda! Go, Panda! anime films, including Panda! Go, Panda!: Rainy Day Circus. Discotek had announced earlier in the day that Panda! Go, Panda! is coming next year.
Isao Takahata directed Panda! Go, Panda!: Rainy Day Circus at Tokyo Movie in 1973, one year after the first Panda! Go, Panda! film. Hayao Miyazaki came up with the original concept for the first film and wrote both films. Both creators would later co-found Studio Ghibli.
Pioneer Entertainment (later known as Geneon Entertainment) released both films in North America on one DVD in 2000, but Discotek promised that its release "will be better."
