posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The official website for the Battle Break trading figure battle game has revealed that the game will get an anime adaptation at the Jump Festa 2012 event this December. The anime will feature all new animated footage. Jump Festa 2012 will be held on December 17 and 18, and the anime will premiere on the V Jump stage at 10:00 a.m. on December 17.
The story of Battle Break is set 100 years into the future, when four superpowers — Earth's mechanized Empire, the fused hybrid beast/human resistance fighters of Gaia, the genetically engineered creatures of Coeurl, and the galactic Alien alliance — clash in the solar system. The game launched via capsules sold in Japanese vending machines in April.
The Japanese entertainment conglomerate Bandai posted an anime promotional video for the game in January.
