"Open 2ch" Board Debuts Without Reposting Restrictions

A clone of the Japanese 2channel (2ch) message board that allows open usage of its posts under a Creative Commons license titled Open2ch was opened yesterday.
Copyright and questions regarding usage of posts on 2ch have been a recent topic of discussion, particularly with the prohibition of five websites from using copyrighted material such as posts from the site. The creator of the Open2ch website also acknowledged the Kyoko Shimbun spoof news website's article on a similar but fictional website.
