Urotsukidoji Manga Creator to Attend London MCM Expo in October

Toshio Maeda, the manga artist who created such sexual horror titles as Urotsukidoji (animated as Legend of the Overfiend), Nightmare Campus, La Blue Girl, Adventure Kid, and Demon Beast Invasion, has announced on his "Tentacle_Master" twitter account that he will be at October's London MCM Expo. The event takes places from October 26 to 28, although Maeda did not specify which days he would be attending. In another tweet, he mentioned that he would be "tied up by movie shooting" on October 25, during his stay in London.

Maeda was interviewed by Helen McCarthy in December 2011 on the Manga UK blog. When he was asked about his new work, Maeda commented: "I keep in touch with certain producers, including Mr. Yamaki [Yasuhito Yamaki, producer of the anime Legend of the Overfiend], to discuss new work, but it might be live-action, not anime. I'm just waiting to see which way the wind blows.”
