A-1 Pictures' Vividred Operation Anime's 1st Promo Streamed

The official website for Vividred Operation, the upcoming "original new animation project" collaboration between ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine and Aniplex, began streaming the first promotional video on Saturday.
The heroine of the "girl science-fiction action" anime will be a 14-year-old girl who lives with her little sister and grandfather and who lives an impoverished life in various ways. She and other 14-year-old girls fight to protect Earth and all that is precious to them.
As previously revealed, Kazuhiro Takamura will be handling the direction and character designs of the January television anime. Hiroyuki Yoshino (Macross Frontier, Guilty Crown) will be responsible for its scripts, and A-1 Pictures (The IDOLM@STER, anohana) will be handling the animation production. Hidari (Fractale, Natsuiro Kiseki, Sasami-san@Ganbaranai) and supercell member redjuice (Guilty Crown) are contributing to the concept designs.
The following will voice the main characters:
- Ayane Sakura as Akane Isshiki
- Rie Murakawa as Aoi Futaba
- Yuka Ōtsubo as Wakaba Saegusa
- Aya Uchida as Himawari Shinomiya
- Maaya Uchida as Rei Kuroki
The voice of another character, the little sister Momo Isshiki, has not been revealed yet.
The website also announced that the anime will be part of Bushiroad's Weiß Schwarz card game. The December issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine will bundle a PR card on October 30.
