The Kickstarter fundraiser for Production I.G and Masaaki Yuasa 's Kick-Heart anime updated its stretch goals on Friday. In addition to Spanish subtitles, the project will add two minutes to the short for a total length of about 12 minutes if US$175,000 is raised by the October 31 deadline. The anime reached its main goal of US$150,000 at about 9:30 p.m. EDT on Wednesday.

If US$200,000 is raised, there will be an English voice-over dub (with Richard Epcar who voiced Batou in Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence), as well as a premiere screening and party sponsored by sponsored by Titmouse Animation Studios. Reaching the US$225,000 threshold will add an animated music video, 3 to 5 minutes long, of Oorutaichi directed by Yuasa. Production I.G. and Yuasa will extend the planned 10-minute short to 40 minutes if US$400,000 is raised by the deadline. If US$1,000,000 is raised, Production I.G will create a Kick-Heart feature film.

Kick-Heart also added a PayPal payment option.
