Gokusen's Morimoto Draws 'Takadai-ke no Hitobito' Manga

Manga creator Kozueko Morimoto (Gokusen) debuted a one-shot manga short in the December issue of Shueisha's Monthly You magazine on Thursday. The issue and the one-shot manga commemorate the magazine's first full year as a monthly publication.
The "Takadai-ke no Hitobito" comedy depicts the romance between a quiet, day-dreaming female employee named Hirano and Takadai, the handsome male upper-tier employee who just arrived from the New York branch. Despite having trouble talking with people, Hirano is suddenly invited to eat with Takadai for some reason.
Morimoto's Deka Wanko manga series is on hiatus in this December issue, but it will resume in the next issue. Her Ashi Girl series also runs in Shueisha's Cocohana magazine, and Shueisha published its first compiled volume in July.
