Full Moon's Tanemura Starts Neko to Watashi no Kinyōbi Manga

The first 2013 issue of Shueisha's Margaret shōjo magazine is announcing on December 5 that Arina Tanemura will launch the Neko to Watashi no Kinyōbi (The Cat's and My Friday) in the magazine's fifth issue on February 5.

Tanemura had ended her exclusivity contract with Shueisha's Ribon magazine in spring 2011. Tanemura's Sakura Hime: The Legend of Princess Sakura (Sakura-Hime Kaden) manga was her last series for Ribon, and she is publishing the final chapter in that series on Saturday. Viz Media will release the ninth volume of the manga in North America next week.

The same issue of Margaret is also revealing that manga creator Yōko Kamio (Hana Yori Dango) will publish the "Ringo Banana Gyūnyū" (Apple Banana Milk) manga in the magazine's second issue on December 20. The love story will be 53-pages long and will feature color pages. It is uncertain if the manga will be a new serialization or a one-shot. Kamio ended her Tora to Ōkami manga series earlier this year. Since the main Boys Over Flowers manga ended in 2004, Kamio drew two Boys Over Flowers side stories in 2006 and 2007. She also drew her Cat Street manga in Bessatsu Margaret from 2004 to 2007 and her Matsuri Special manga in Jump Square magazine from 2007-2009.
