Noboru Takahashi's story of police officer going undercover in mob syndicate

This year's 8th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine is announcing next Monday that a live-action film adaptation of Noboru Takahashi's Mogura no Uta (Mole's Song) manga has been green-lit. The crime action story revolves around Reiji Kikukawa, a police officer who goes undercover to infilitrate a gangster syndicate.

Takahashi launched the manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Young Sunday magazine in 2005, but he moved the manga to Weekly Big Comic Spirits after Weekly Young Sunday ceased publication in 2008. Shogakukan will publish the 34th compiled book volume next month.
