Manga Entertainment will release the first volume of Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan, on Monday April 8. In the story, Rikuo Nura, a child who is part human and a quarter yōkai (demon), lives in a house full of spirits along with his grandfather. Trying to escape his fate of acting like a demon, he does good deeds in order to avoid becoming one — despite his grandfather's wish for Nura to succeed him as master of the Nurari yōkai clan.
MVM is releasing the second volume of Season 2 of Shakugan no Shana. From the Anime-on-line site:
"Shana and Yuji face their greatest foes yet as they battle Denizens who desire the Midnight Lost Child for their own. Amidst a whirlwind battle with the beautiful Pheles, a Flame Haze goes berserk and friends get caught in the chaos. Then, the Bal Masque returns to execute a scheme that could spell the end for Yuji. Will a newly discovered strength give Yuji and Shana the edge to save themselves and the city from total destruction - or will evil engulf both his world and hers?"
Manga is also releasing the series Ōkami-san & Her Seven Companions. The television series from J.C. Staff, Media Factory and director Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Love Hina, The Familiar of Zero) adapts Masashi Okita's romantic comedy light novel series about three high schoolers — Ryōko Ōkami ("Ōkami-san" or "Wolf"), Ringo Akai ("Akazuki-chan" or "Red Riding Hood"), and Ryōshi Morino (his name is a wordplay on "forest hunter"). The three are part of the Otogi High School Bank, a club that solves the high school's problems.
