Touhou-Based 'Memories of Phantasm' Anime #2's 1st Half Streamed

posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Video has embedded subtitles, no voices on stream; DVD features voice acting and removable subtitles

Last week, the dōjin (self-published) circle Manpuku Jinja began streaming the first half of the second installment in its "Gensō Bankakyō ~The Memories of Phantasm~" (Kaleidoscope of Illusions: The Memories of Phantasm) anime, which the circle created based on the Touhou Project games. The circle released the full anime at the Hakurei Jinja Reitaisai Touhou Project-only dōjinshi event last month.

The video does not have any voices, and has subtitles embedded into it. The DVD version has voices, and the subtitles can be removed. The anime's background music and theme songs are provided by Yuuhei Satellite with Kisida Kyodan & The Akebosi Rockets, with singer senya providing the vocals for the opening and ending themes.

Manpuku Jinja streamed the full first 16-minute installment in August 2011 after debuting the work at Comic Market 80 a few days earlier. The circle then released a DVD with a promotional video for another installment in the series, titled "Tsuki ni Murakumo Hana ni Kaze," at Comic Market 81 in December 2011.

Manpuku Jinja is streaming the first installment again this month:
