Spike Lee's Oldboy Slated for Thanksgiving Weekend

The release date of Spike Lee's remake of Chan-wook Park's live-action Oldboy film has been pushed back four more weeks from October 25 to Thanksgiving Eve, November 27. It was first scheduled for October 11. Other films opening on Thanksgiving weekend include Grace Of Monaco, Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, Black Nativity, Frozen, Homefront, and Out Of The Furnace.

Lee shot his remake with Josh Brolin (Milk, Men in Black 3), actress Elizabeth Olsen (Silent House, Martha Marcy May Marlene), Sharlto Copley (District 9, The A-Team), Samuel L. Jackson (Jungle Fever, Pulp Fiction, The Avengers), and James Ransone (Sinister, Inside Man, The Next Three Days) last fall.
