Oldboy Remake's Viral Trailer & More Posters Unveiled

A viral trailer for Spike Lee's remake of Chan-wook Park's live-action Oldboy film began streaming on Tuesday. The "Preparing Your Stay" trailer ties in with previously circulated movie posters for "Hotel Oldboy."
The trailer links to the film's official Tumblr account which includes more tongue-in-cheek posters and images recounting important events that the character Joe Douchette (Josh Brolin) missed during his 20 years in captivity.
Lee shot his remake with Brolin (Milk, Men in Black 3), actress Elizabeth Olsen (Silent House, Martha Marcy May Marlene), Sharlto Copley (District 9, The A-Team), Samuel L. Jackson (Jungle Fever, Pulp Fiction, The Avengers), and James Ransone (Sinister, Inside Man, The Next Three Days) last fall.
The film is slated to open on November 27.
