Saki's National Tournament Arc Anime Previewed in Promo Video

A special pre-broadcast event debuted a promotional video for Saki Zenkoku-hen, the television anime for the National Tournament arc in Ritz Kobayashi's Saki mahjong manga, on Sunday:
Director Manabu Ono, assistant director Kenji Seto, head scriptwriter Tatsuhiko Urahata, and character designer/chief animation director Masakatsu Sasaki are all returning from the first two Saki television anime series along with the voice cast. Studio Gokumi is animating the upcoming anime as it did for Saki Episode of Side A.
The Amazon website lists seven Blu-ray Disc/DVD volumes between March 19 and September 17, 2014. The first copies of the first 44-minute volume will bundle an exclusive deluxe manga volume by Kobayashi, Aguri Igarashi, Saya Kiyoshi, and Hideki Ohwada. It will also have an exclusive booklet, Digipak packaging, and box. The seventh volume is available in a limited-number special first edition as well.
The anime will premiere in January. Crunchyroll streamed the two previous anime series into several countries as they aired in Japan.
