GTO creator Tohru Fujisawa's tentatively titled Red Data Planet manga did not debut in the January issue of Kodansha's Magazine Special as planned. The manga is also not listed in the upcoming February issue.
Fujisawa will end the first part of his Ino-Head Gargoyle (a spinoff of GTO) manga in this year's eighth issue of Kodansha's Young magazine on Monday. The magazine revealed that Fujisawa will begin a new manga this spring. It did not specify if the new manga is the next part of Ino-Head Gargoyle or a brand new series.
He is currently penning Kamen Teacher Black (the sequel to his four-volume Kamen Teacher manga series) in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine. He is also involved in the Tokko Zero manga with Yukai Asada, the Soul Reviver manga with Manabu Akishige, and the Shonan Seven manga with artist Shinsuke Takahashi.
