posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Fantasista Stella volume 2 planned for November, Ane Log in December

The November issue of Shogakukan's Shōnen Sunday S magazine is announcing on Thursday that Michiteru Kusaba's Fantasista Stella soccer manga and Kenji Taguchi's Ane Log - Moyako Nee-san no Tomaranai Monologue (Sister's Log - Moyako's Monologue That Won't Stop) comedy manga will get second original video anime (OVA) volumes.

The second volume of Fantasista Stella will be bundled with the limited edition of the ninth manga volume on November 18. The second OVA will feature the "R Madrid vs. Japan" arc. The first anime volume shipped with the eighth Fantasista Stella manga volume on September 18, and it features a battle between Teppei and Honda that was not in the original manga. Hideya Takahashi (Pocket Monsters: The Origin episode director) directed the OVA at Xebec.

Fantasista Stella is the sequel to the original Fantasista manga. The first manga followed a boy named Teppei Sakamoto (played by Junichi Yanagita) as he strives for greatness on his high school soccer team. Fantasista Stella picks up the story when Teppei and teammate Keisuke Honda (Hideo Ishikawa) aim for the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil during the summer.

The second volume of the Ane Log OVA will ship with the limited edition of the sixth manga volume on December 18. The first OVA shipped on DVD with the limited edition of the fifth compiled manga volume on September 18.

The manga's story centers on Moyako Konoe (played by Ami Koshimizu) and her younger brother Akira (Takahiro Mizushima). When they were younger, Akira proposed to her, so Moyako thinks he is a pervert who has fallen in love with his older sister. Moyako's misunderstanding leads her to create wild delusions about her brother.

Tetsuo Ichimura (episode director for Bleach, Durarara!!) directed the first OVA at Brains Base with scripts by Natsuko Takahashi (Romeo × Juliet, Bleach). Eriko Itō (Hamatora) handled the character design.

The magazine is also announcing that Imawa no Kuni no Alice (Alice in Borderland) OVA's second of three planned volumes will ship with the manga's 13th compiled volume in December. The 12th volume of the manga bundled with the first episode of the video anime will ship in Japan on October 17.
