Q Transformers TV Anime's Opening Sequence Streamed With OLDCODEX

The official website for the Q Transformers: Kaettekita Convoy no Nazo (Q Transformers: The Mystery of the Convoy Returns) anime began streaming the opening sequence for the series on Saturday. The beginning of the video features commentary by OLDCODEX, who perform the anime's opening theme, “physical.” Vocalist and voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki will also star in the anime as Lockdown (the opening itself begins at the 1:22 mark).

Jun Fukushima as WheelJack
Kouki Uchiyama as Smokescreen
Yūichi Nakamura as Rumble & Sunstreaker
Kōtarō Ishidate (Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono, gdgd Fairies) is directing the anime at DLE Inc., and is also providing the scripts. 6 Jigen Animation is providing the animation for the opening sequence.

The anime will premiere on Japanese television on January 6.
The TV anime is inspired by the 1986 Famicom (Nintendo Entertainment System) game The Transformers: Mystery of Convoy. The game also inspired a smartphone app earlier this year.
