Yūga Yamato to reprise her role as Mamoru Chiba from past 2 musicals in Sailor Moon -Un Nouveau Voyage-

The official website for the franchise inspired by Naoko Takeuchi's Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon) manga announced on Saturday that the five actresses that currently play the five Sailor Guardians will be "graduating" the cast after the third new musical, Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon -Un Nouveau Voyage- (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: A New Voyage).

Satomi Okubo (Sailor Moon), Kanon Nanaki (Sailor Mars), Yu Takahashi (Sailor Jupiter), and Shiori Sakata (Sailor Venus) debuted as their roles in 2013's Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon -La Reconquista- musical. Momoyo Koyama replaced Miyabi Matsuura in 2014's Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon -Petite Étrangère- musical (poster seen right) as Sailor Mercury.

Commenting on their final performances, each of the actresses gave statements, with Okubo saying, "To be honest, I'm very sad that I'm going to be graduating the Sailor Moon musicals after this next one... I want the fans to see the Sailor Guardians who fight for the sake of those they love and their friends till the very end. Usagi Tsukino will fight as Sailor Moon with all her strength."

Actress Yūga Yamato will reprise her role as Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask in the third musical, and will continue to do so in future plays.

Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon -Un Nouveau Voyage- will be performed at between September 18 and 27 at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo venue, and then from October 2 to 4 at the Sankei Hall Breeze theater in Osaka. Readers of Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine can purchase tickets in advance, and normal tickets will be available for purchase beginning on July 26 at 10 a.m. JST. S seat tickets will cost 7,500 yen (about US$62), while A seat tickets will retail for 5,800 yen (about US$48).
