Transformers Devastation Listed With 1980s Cast by Platinum Games

Bayonetta developer offers cel-shaded PS3/PS4/Xbox One/360 game on October 6

Best Buy Canada is listing a Transformers Devastation game for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One from Activision. According to the listing, the Japanese developer Platinum Games (Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, The Legend of Korra) is developing the game with five playable Autobots: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack, and Grimlock. Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime), Dan Gilvezan (Bumblebee), Frank Welker (Megatron and Soundwave), and other voice actors from the original 1980s animated television series are reprising their roles.

Best Buy's listings include cel-shaded screenshots with the Decepticon combining enemy robot Devastator, as well as a purple jet similar to Ramjet and a blue enemy similar to Runamuck. Platinum Games previously worked with Activision on The Legend of Korra game. Best Buy offers other details:

Face off against Megatron and battle it out with the Decepticons in Transformers [Devastation]. Equipped with fast action capabilities, this game allows for instant robot to vehicle attacks, slam downs, counterattacks, and infinite combos for a unique master combat system. Five difficulty levels also deliver hours of intense gameplay.
