9 minutes of gameplay streamed, Morgana's English dub voice previewed for February release

Game news website Siliconera reported on Tuesday that Atlus' upcoming Persona 5 role-playing game will not include a dual-language option, but will instead contain only English voices and text. Atlus stated that the game's English script "provides a faithful and engaging play experience."

In addition, video game news source IGN posted a video of the game on Tuesday. The video shows almost nine minutes of gameplay. In addition, Gamespot streamed the same gameplay video, but the end includes a preview of the character Morgana's English dub voice.

The latest entry in the Persona role-playing games will ship for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on September 15 in Japan, and on February 14, 2017 in the Americas. Atlus will offer the American release in a "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition that includes a soundtrack CD, a Morgana plush, a hardcover art book, a steelbook, and a school bag. The game will also be available in a SteelBook Edition.

The game features animation sequences from the Production I.G studio.

The Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers- television anime special will air in September, before the game's launch. It will recount the prologue story of the young thief organization at the center of the game.

An orchestral concert will run on August 13. "Persona 20th Fes," a "immersive Persona cultural festival" in the style of high school festivals, will run at the Arts Chiyoda 3331 complex in Tokyo's Akihabara district in December to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary.
