One Piece Dai Kaizoku Colosseum 3DS Game's Ad Previews Gild Tesoro in Action

2D fighting game slated for release on September 21, demo version on July 27

The official website for Bandai Namco Entertainment's upcoming One Piece Dai Kaizoku Colosseum (One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum) Nintendo 3DS game began streaming a commercial for the game on Tuesday. The video previews Luffy fighting with Gild Tesoro, the antagonist of the upcoming One Piece Film Gold movie. In addition, it reveals that the game will get a demo version on July 27.

The site previously streamed the game's first promotional video in June.

The game is slated for release on September 21. The game will retail for 5,700 yen (about US$54).

Those who pre-order the game will receive Whitebeard, Marco, and Jozu as assist characters. The game's Amazon listing additionally notes that those who pre-order the game will also get two Nintendo 3DS themes and a "crew building" item download code. Amazon Japan additionally lists another unspecified item for those who pre-order the game from Amazon.

The game will have a mode where players can create a pirate crew and explore the world. In battle, special moves are enacted by pushing buttons with the right tempo. As players defeat rivals, the reward money on their pirate wanted poster will increase.

The most recent One Piece game, One Piece Burning Blood, shipped in Japan on April 21 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game shipped for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One on May 31 in North America and June 3 in Europe. The game's digital release on PC is slated for summer.
