Songstresses from franchise's 34-year history teased

A television commercial debuted on Sunday, and it revealed more details on DeNA's new smartphone game app based on the Macross anime franchise. Uta Macross Sma-Pho De-Culture (Song Macross Smartphone De-Culture) is a rhythm game launching next spring.

The commercial says that songstresses from throughout the history of the Macross franchise will appear in the game, and it promises that players can experience the Macross world. In particular, the commercial shows Lynn Minmay from The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? film, Basara Nekki and Mylene Flare Jenius from Macross 7's Fire Bomber band, Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier, and the Walkūre idol group from the ongoing Macross Delta television series.
