Kinetic novel by E.N.Nach won 2 Nico Nico Indies Game Fest awards in 2015

Sekai Project announced at its panel at Seattle's Sakura Con event on Friday that it will release Japanese indie developer E.N.Nach's CyberRebeat -The Fifth Domain of Warfare- game in English on Steam worldwide this year.

Sekai Project describes the game:

“CyberRebeat -The Fifth Domain of Warfare-” is a kinetic novel in which you take on the role of Hiro, who lives his life day to day in a net café. Upon hearing about a legendary hacker named “Warlock”, Hiro is in awe of their exploits and decides to find more information about this enigmatic figure.

However, as he continues his investigation, a fatal fire accident breaks out at an editorial company -- his main source of information. To add further confusion, Hiro finds logs that show that the company's systems were hacked into. He decides to team up with Misa, another hacker with the same skills as Warlock, as they delve deeper into the incident.

What new revelations will they uncover in the sea of the net?

The game won two awards at the Nico Nico Indies Game Fest 5 awards in 2015.

Sekai Project also revealed on Friday that it is working with Chinese indie developer 4D Door Games for the Steam release of 4D Door Games' WILL: A Wonderful World. Sekai Project is providing the translation and marketing support for the game. 4D Door Games and Sekai Project are aiming for a release on Steam this year.

The game is an "interactive novel style puzzle game" where players play as a goddess named Phrasa. Players "wield the power of shaping the fate of the mortals who seek [Phrasa's] help."

Sekai Project also said during the Q&A portion of the panel that the second volume of the GATE manga should be out "soon" after the company runs it past the editor and Japanese publisher.
