Arika's 'Mysterious Fighting Game' With Street Fighter EX Characters Slated for 2018

Game developer ARIKA announced at The Evolution Championship Series 2017 tournament on Sunday that it has begun development on its as-yet-untitled "Mysterious Fighting Game" for PlayStation 4. The game is slated for simultaneous release in North America, Europe, and Japan in 2018. A beta/server test is slated for the end of 2017, and pre-orders will open in Japan at this time.
The game will be the newest installment in ARIKA's EX series, which previously included the Street Fighter EX games.
ARIKA began streaming a trailer for the fighting game, which introduces Skullomania and Darun Mister as characters for the game in addition to the previously revealed characters Kairi, Shirase/Hokuto, and Garuda. All the characters have previously appeared in Street Fighter EX games.
ARIKA revealed the game with a video on April 1 as an "April Fool's Day" joke.
