Hugtto! Precure ♡ Futari wa Precure Film Casts Mizuki Yamamoto

Peach Girl actress plays reporter based on her appearance in October 27 film

The official website for the Eiga Hugtto! Precure ♡ Futari wa Precure All Stars Memories crossover film announced on Thursday that actress Mizuki Yamamoto (live-action Peach Girl, Sadako vs. Kayako, Gintama 2 net series' Maetel) will have a guest role in the film. She has also been appointed as the film's "publicty team leader" since she expressed her enthusiasm for the anime through interviews, social media, and other venues. In the film itself, Yamamoto will play a reporter character based on her appearance.

The film will open on October 27 in Japan. The new film's theme is "memories," and will it will feature 55 Precures.

Mamoru Miyano is guest-starring as Miden, an enemy who wants to steal all of the Precures' memories.

Hugtto! Precure premiered on February 4. The original Futari wa Precure series ran from 2004 to 2005.

Futari wa Precure is streaming with English subtitles on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Tubi TV. Saban Brands localized two other Precure series — Smile Precure! and Dokidoki! Precure — under the titles Glitter Force and Glitter Force Doki Doki and released them on Netflix. The Glitter Force brand has since moved to Hasbro.

The previous film in the "All Stars" series, Eiga Precure All Stars: Minna de Utau Kiseki no Mahō!, opened in Japan in March 2016. Crossover films after that were titled Eiga Precure Dream Stars! and Precure Super Stars!.
