Gundam Build Divers Break Manga Ends in August

Gundam Build Divers spinoff manga launched in June 2018

The September issue of Kadokawa's Gundam Ace magazine revealed on Friday that the Gundam Build Divers spinoff manga Gundam Build Divers Break will end in the next issue in August.

The series launched in the magazine in June 2018. Kadokawa released the first compiled book volume in December.

Ryōji Sekinishi (Mobile Suit Gundam UC setting production) is in charge of the scenario, Kazuhiro Hara (Log Horizon manga) is designing the characters, Takayuki Yanase (Mobile Suit Gundam 00) and Kanetake Ebigawa (Mobile Suit Gundam 00) are designing the mechs, and newcomer Gensui Shiitake is drawing the manga.

The latest anime in the Gundam Build franchise, Gundam Build Divers, premiered in April 2018, and Crunchyroll and both streamed the series. Funimation then added the anime to its FunimationNow streaming service in March. The series is available with English subtitles and an English dub. describes the story:

Sunrise and Right Stuf released two of the previous Gundam Build series, Gundam Build Fighters and Gundam Build Fighters Try, on home video with English dubs.

The Gundam Build Fighters: GM no Gyakushū (GM's Counterattack) film focuses on Sei Iori and the original cast of Gundam Build Fighters in a new story. The film opened in Japan in August 2017. The five-episode Gundam Build Fighters: Battlogue short net anime series also premiered in August 2017. Both projects were part of an overall Gundam Build _Extra Battle project.

Sunrise revealed earlier this month that the new Gundam Build franchise work is a new television anime titled Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE.
