The game will also have a playable demo at Anime NYC from Friday through Sunday.
The game will launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as for mobile devices on the Google Play Store and App Store.
The new game builds upon Blue Protocol's anime-style visuals and graphics, and will feature a dynamic combat system (with class system, talent build, skill sets, etc.); an open-world landscape with quests, dungeons, and raids; character customization; and a multiplayer social experience through trade, guilds, and community events. Blue Protocol: Star Resonance will also feature cross-platform play support between mobile devices and PC.

Ater the announcement in August 2024 of the game's end of service, Bokura revealed the Star Resonance game "based on the Blue Protocol IP," and conducted a closed beta test for Chinese players in December.
