91.8 The Fan Announces Partnership with the One Piece Podcast

LAS VEGAS, NV - January 18, 2010 - 91.8 The Fan is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Unofficial One Piece Podcast. Listeners can tune in on Saturdays for a recap of the Thursday episode posted up on One Piece Podcasts homepage, and can tune in Sunday for a brand new episode before anyone gets their hands on it! Fans of the Show can also keep an ear out for exclusive content that will only be aired on 91.8 The Fan's Sunday episode.

ABOUT 91.8 THE FAN- The website went live in February 2009 and quickly amassed a large following of viewers. They first launched with their news recap show, iStalk, but have since branched out with many other shows, reviews, and exclusive articles. They have officially attended MetroCon, Anime Expo, and Anime Vegas as press and provided videos of panels, interviews with guests, and cosplay galleries. In addition, 91.8 The Fan has an exclusive press coverage agreement with Anime Vegas and are expected to be visiting ten conventions this year. Unlike a lot of other fan run radio stations, 91.8 The Fan boasts live DJ's for users to interact with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The station includes not only anime soundtracks, but also a wide variety of music from over 7 Asian countries.

While currently broadcasting in 56k, an upgrade to 128k is planned before the end of January. They are also currently operating with 11 different DJs and plan on expanding their staff to include a total of 15 on-air personalities. The main talk show (Kana's Korner) takes place every weekday 10:00AM - 2:00PM PST while the One Piece Podcast Premieres every Saturday and Sunday at 12pm PST.
