Yama-B Set to Cover Classic Saint Seiya Song with Brazilian Official Singer
Former Galneryus frontman invited Brazilian singer to join him in new version for the classic Saint Seiya anthem
RIO DE JANEIRO, RJ – May 3rd , 2013 – Yama-B (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Yama-B-Gunbridge/392000787542422), Japanese singer famous for being the frontman for the heavy metal band Galneryus, recently published in his facebook fan page that Rodrigo Rossi, singer known for recording the Brazilian opening and ending themes for Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Dragon Ball Kai and most recently Saint Seiya: Omega, to join him as a guest on a new version for the anthem written by Hironobu Kageyama, SOLDIER DREAM. A version of this song in the voice of Rossi is a long time request of the fans and it almost came true for the release of the DVD “The Myth of Rebel Saints” in the country.
Currently, the upcoming album by Yama-B, that goes by the title Yama-B & Friends, has got a few tracks under production and being conducted by none other than Diógenes Lima, keyboardist and producer of the band OPUS V, who also worked on the OMEGA saga soundtrack in Brazil recording Rossi. The song will receive a new arrangement by Diógenes, also by request of Yama-B, on which the drums will be performed by Lufe Pereira (OPUS V, former OFICINA G3).
To complete the guest team, guitarist Davis Ramay, known for his work with Nordheim and for touring with musicians such as Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple), Tony Martin (Black Sabbath), John Lawton (Uriah Heep), Danny Vaughn (Tyketto), Ted Polley (Danger Danger), Andy Timmons (Danger Danger), and others. Davis can be found alongside Rossi both live and in studio, as they recorded together his first solo album called “COME FULL CIRCLE” back in 2008, and are once again collaborating on its successor, currently under pre-production.
