Toho Invites Fans to Dive in the Swamp of Chaos as Dorohedoro Returns with New Season Trailer

The New Official Trailer Debuts Alongside Cross-Eyes Cast Announcements Including Kōki Uchiyama and Daiki Hamano, Returning Music by (K)NoW_NAME, and Expanded Streaming For Season 1 on March 7

Los Angeles, California (March 7, 2026) – Toho Co., LTD. has officially unveiled the first major announcements tied to the upcoming return of the cult-favorite anime Dorohedoro. The anime adaptation of Q-Hayashida's popular manga debuted a brand-new trailer for the upcoming new season and an official global website that will serve as the central hub for streaming availability for Season 1 and updates as Season 2 prepares to premiere on April 1.

Originally serialized for 18 years beginning in 2000, Dorohedoro's global fanbase was established thanks to its distinctive world, dark humor, and chaotic storytelling. The manga was brought to life in the acclaimed 2020 television anime, introducing audiences to the brutal yet bizarre world of Hole and the mysterious amnesiac lizard-headed protagonist Caiman

To celebrate the series' highly anticipated return, the newly released trailer offers the first extended look at Season 2. It plunges viewers back into the swamp of turmoil that defines Dorohedoro. The trailer teases an even deeper plunge into the enigmas surrounding Caiman's past and the tangled conflicts between the residents of Hole and the sorcerers' world.

The new arc will also introduce several new characters whose stories intertwine with Caiman and the En Family. The Cross-Eyes makes its debut with a newly revealed voice cast including Kōki Uchiyama as DokugaDaiki Hamano as TetsujoYuichi Koshimura as SajiKatsuhito Nomura as TonAtsushi Imaruoka as Ushishimada, and Sara Matsumoto as Natsuki.

The new season will also feature music from returning Japanese music group (K)NoW_NAME, who handled the music for Season 1. Both the opening theme “Zettai Must Danmen” and the ending theme “Return To Head” will be performed by the group including members Ayaka TachibanaNIKEII, and R・O・N. “It's a tremendous honor to participate in the world of Dorohedoro again for Season 2's OP/ED/BGM,” said R・O・N.. “I worked on the music, aiming to color the work with a wide range of genres and sounds.
