so needless to say in my unending quests to elevate the kind of constant boredom that keeps you on the internet at 2 in the morning I have in fact been assaulted by pornography on numerous occasions. My question is why is it that their is animated porno for most popular anime series? How is that legal? And do the company's that make this stuff ever get sued for copyright infringement? As far as I am aware most hentai based of poular series are not fully animated, they might be mostly explicet drawings, or come in the form of doujin manga. I am not an expert but I hear that the people who make that stuff usually make barely any money and would be worth going after.
But others might know more then me as I don't really watch much hentai. |

in japan you can write fan made stuff from original work.
so the copyright infringement will be very gray at best when it comes to hentai parodies. they are producing stuff outside of the original works using characters that look like (not always good in fact usually really poorly like) the originals. besides the people who are peddling it for the most profit are established in countries they simply couldn't get at them legally from. |

Really? such as where mostly? And its not really a monetary thing its more of the principle angle i was looking at it from. I mean if i made a series I am doubtful that i would be cool with something of that nature. That stated i guess its not like we don't have the same stuff around here with live action tv and film , but it kinda seems like the dynamics a little different when its drawing that look quite familiar to the originals rather then people who don't much look like the actors their parodying. You know? |

a few south American countries don't keep with American copy right laws or extradition and they host a huge amount of the more questionable porn on the net some of the old eastern block countries are also cashing in on hosting stuff so does North korea for some stuff, Germany is probably still the number one place to find Crackers and trojan/script writers with the eastern block countries in close second. by the way you can paint and sell the mona lisa as long as you sign it with your name then its simply a reproduction of an original work not a forgery. |

The only way you could possibly have seen "animated porno" for popular anime is if you were actually visiting hentai websites. That sort of stuff doesn't show up when doing normal google searches even if safe search is off.
Why the hell do you care whether its legal or not? This shouldn't even apply to you unless you're one of the people who actually downloads and watches those videos. Why not waste time asking about something which has actual relevance. |

that's not quite true a video search for dragonball will pop up a number of Hentai results and there are a number of streaming sites that also have hentai sections you don't have to actually seek it out specifically to be exposed to its existence but to watch it beyond what they call catch-em teasers you'd have to. |

Pretty much. Though after the first several times i eventually did start typing in random anime titles and hentai to see what would happen,...and yeah its pretty much all their. Its kind of disturbing actually. As for the legality flame excaliber736. What you just said makes no sense.............. Unless in reality your just trolling and then i suppose it makes perfect sense. |

I remember reading somewhere that as an anime author or writer, that's how you know you are successful when someone has made a hentai based on your work.
Jokes aside, I do hate to come across these pictures. It just makes me angry seeing my favorite characters being used in that way.

If you really require an answer to this, I'll supply one. But hopefully, you can figure it out for yourself with this hint: you're talking about people who buy pillows adorned with characters from an anime. Remember what you did to your pillow? Yeah... that's about as far as I go with this one.
Despite what the copyright lawyers on this site believe, it's not infringement when the characters are similar. It's only when they're identical can infringement be applied. Even if the characters were blatant copies, the chances of going after them for infringement would be a tedious process. Lawsuits are expensive and it would be tremendously difficult to prove the hentai, which comes out after the original series, is causing losses due to the infringement. |

ok thanks guys. it was just something that had been bother me for a long. i wanted to make sure it wasn't something like companys licensing the stuff out.
and as for all the trolls, i knew this post would be flamed because of the subject matter, i guess i just really wanted to know.
it dosen't really make me angry, i just think its disturbing. though i think the disney and the other childrens cartoon stuff is a little bit more disturbing. I guess some people simply have a different sense of humor |
